Why use Vetalintex Wound Hydrogel?
Wound Hydrogels can both donate moisture and absorb excess exudate providing a more controlled wound environment. They also act be gently debriding wounds and rehydrating necrotic tissue which will then be removed from the wound surface.

Many horse owners believe that a wound should be allowed to dry out - "let the air get to it" - but in fact, the opposite is now understood to be more beneficial, providing the following advantages:

Faster Healing - Wounds are able to heal more quickly in a moisture controlled environment. The new epithelial cells can move around more easily, allowing the damaged tissue to repair quickly.
