The problem being how to feed horses forage as 'NATURE INTENDED' from the floor and in a manner, which is 'FAR EASIER FOR YOU AND FAR BETTER FOR YOUR HORSES'

The HAY BAR system was originally devised to help a show hunter brood mare suffering from pneumonia. It encouraged her to eat from the floor and as a result helped drain down her airways. The mare recovered and it was soon realised the HAY BAR system had numerous advantages. HAY BAR aids digestion as the forage is taken more slowly. HAY BAR saves waste, as the forage is far less likely to mix with the bedding. Mares, foals and youngstock benefit, as the HAY BAR is far safer than nets or racks. HAY BAR is quicker and easier to fill (even by a small child) and hence saves precious time.

The show and dressage worlds appreciate that this method of feeding improves top line as the upper neck muscles become more developed due to the natural feeding position.
