Designed to appeal to the younger rider but offering the same protection as the adult version. This traditionally styled riding hat is covered with a short pile velveteen and comes in its own Charles and Owen Carry Box.
The soft headband is embedded with high tech silver ions for built in antimicrobial protection and it's fitted with an easy fasten quick release clip.
Kitemarked to PAS015 and BSEN 1384 and also SEI ASTM F1163.
The European standard BSEN1384 1997 replaces BS4472 and BS6473. PAS015 is the british version of the european standard, and although both standards are similar PAS015 offers slightly better protection. The majority of Equestrian Associations have made the use of AS015/BSEN1384 headwear compulsory. The BSJA insist that all riders wear PAS015/BSEN1384.
